Prenatal and Postnatal Yoga

Prenatal yoga classes at The Embodiment Center are specially designed practices to help mama move through her pregnancy with less physical discomfort, build strength, and focus her mind and breath in preparation for labor and motherhood. Classes are appropriate for mamas new to yoga or seasoned practitioners.

$10 Lunch Time Prenatal Flow:

Prenatal yoga is an amazing way to integrate multiple components of establishing health and well-being through pregnancy and preparation for birth. Weaving together breath work, meditation, restorative and strengthening postures. Finding ease whenever you are in your pregnancy, utilizing prenatal yoga as a love language to communicate to your body and mind. Roxy teaches a fun, accessible, vinyasa flow while tying in essential pelvic floor exercises and addressing the common aches, pains, and discomforts of pregnancy. Leaving Mama’s-to be feeling nourished, energized and grounded.

Tuesdays 12-1pm with Roxy Robbins

Thursdays 1:15-2:30pm with Christie Abeling

$10 Post Natal:

Post-Natal yoga serves as a bridge for Mama’s to explore and identify with their post-baby body. In this class, we will create a comforting space to re-connect with yourself in the 4th trimester. Leading breath work, postures, and exercises to revive strength in your pelvic floor, identify and address any separation of the outermost abdominal muscles (diastasis recti), release neck, shoulder and back tension (and more). Release those achy baby-holding muscles and take the time to dive into an hour of essential self-care. *This class is ideal for Mama’s at least 6 weeks Postpartum. This class is also open to anyone healing post-birth (women who have experienced loss, gone through the adoption process) *

Sundays 3-4pm with Roxy Robbins/Christie Abeling

$10 Mama Power:

Mama Power is a dynamic, fun, upbeat low impact cardio workout for expecting and new mothers. Weaving together yoga, strength training and movement to support and ease the pregnant and postpartum form while building breathe and body awareness. This workout will help Mamas feel strong, limber and in-tune with their body! Get ready to move while grooving to a playlist filled with hip-hop & R&B (past and present).

Come solo or have your baby in tow! *Suggested for 6-8 weeks post-birth*
