Mackenzie Thomas, RYT-200, LMBT, believes yoga and massage are integral parts of overall well being, guiding you to live a healthier lifestyle. Her dedication and love for the yoga practice compelled her to complete a 200-hour teacher training program at the Asheville Yoga Center in 2009 and a 675-hour program at the Asheville School of Massage and Yoga in 2013. Mackenzie’s classes are infused with breath work, meditation, dynamic sequencing, alignment, world music beats and her genuine compassion for others.
Mackenzie witnesses the yoga practice as an aid to releasing layers of the ego, to find more authenticity within. She encourages others to uncover, through the practice, the deeper layers of the self to initiate change, growth, and healing. Through her combined experience of yoga and bodywork, Mackenzie is devoted to sharing the practice of yoga to help each soul find their own individual flow and full potential.
Roxy Robbins: Yoga has served as a foundation for healing and wellness in Roxy’s life the past 10 years. First beginning as a student in the Hudson Valley, NY then growing into a teacher when she decided to move to Asheville, NC to take the 200hr Yoga Teacher Training immersion at Asheville Yoga Center. Living in Asheville, NC the past 6 years she found her passion and life’s work as a birth and postpartum doula. Through that work, she found a new purpose and calling in teaching pre/post-natal yoga. She believes it is a privilege and gift to be present during this raw, subtle, transformational time in life. She is honored to guide women through a therapeutic practice that fosters courage and connection.
