Lindsay Majer

Lindsay’s love for yoga is contagious. Her classes are warm and welcoming, which allow students of all levels to safely explore each pose. Lindsay’s well-timed cues guide students through self-discovery without leaving them wondering what to do next or how to position their body.

Lindsay discovered yoga in 1998 and hasn’t stopped practicing since. She completed her 500-hour teacher training in 2016 and her 200-hour teacher training in 2014 both through Lillah Schwartz’s Transformation Yoga Trainings. She has had the honor of studying with numerous Iyengar-style teachers throughout the southeast.

When she is not teaching, practicing, or studying yoga, Lindsay is the Director of Mindful Operations for the Tzedek Social Justice Fellowship, a program of the Amy Mandel and Katina Rodis Fund. Here, she supports emerging social justice leaders and builds the capacity of organizations to effect change in Asheville so that all people may flourish.
