Cindy Dollar supports her students in creating balance, strength, and flexibility in their bodies and in their lives through the practice of yoga. Knowledgeable, approachable, and fun, she creates a safe and respectful environment in which she guides and encourages students to explore their potential – on and off the mat.
“As a yoga instructor and practitioner, I’m happy to see students coming to class to explore asana. Yet, yoga is much more than exercise: the deeper benefits arise when students bring those qualities of humility, focus, flexibility, and right effort off of the mat into the rest of their lives. In the meantime, the body becomes stronger, more flexible, and more balanced.”
Formerly a pharmacist, Cindy stays current with western and eastern healing modalities. She has been voted “Best Yoga Teacher in Western North Carolina” by readers of Mountain Xpress four times in recent years, including 2014.
